Official Rules — Events
1. Sponsor
The publisher of Golf Kingdom. Apple Inc. is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, these events in any way.
2. Eligibility
Open to players aged 18 or older in places where such contests are lawful. Employees and contractors of the sponsor are not eligible for prizes. One account per person.
3. How to enter
- Daily Tournament: one ranked round on the featured course during the day (resets at midnight local time).
- Weekly Championship: one ranked round during the week (resets Monday).
- Monthly Major: three 18-hole rounds during the calendar month. Only players who complete all three rounds are ranked, on total strokes.
- Design Challenge: submit one hole per day for the day's theme; players vote, one vote per entry.
An entry is a round played in the app and posted to the leaderboard. Rounds may be resumed but not replayed.
4. Winners
Determined by lowest score (or most votes for the Design Challenge) among verified, unmodified rounds. Ties share the tied prize slots evenly. Standings lock when the event clock reaches zero; the Monthly Major is settled on the first day of the following month.
5. Verification
Every ranked round records a receipt of the round (course seed, per-hole scores, app build, timestamps). Rounds may be re-checked before prizes are credited. Modified clients, automation, multiple accounts or tampering disqualify all related entries.
6. Prizes
Prizes are virtual currency (jewels, crowns, coins) and virtual items, credited in-app. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not transferable. Monthly Major pot: 10,000 jewels, split 50% / 30% / 20% among 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Claiming jewel prizes requires a linked account.
7. General
The sponsor may cancel, suspend or modify an event if fraud, technical failure or any other cause impairs its integrity, and may disqualify any entry it reasonably believes breaches these rules.
